I loved LEGO as a kid! Not the straightforward sets with clear building instructions, but 4 big bins full of blocks in all shapes, sizes and colours. Together with my brothers we sat on the carpet for hours playing and building. 

​

As I grew older, it was Lego Technics that caught my attention. The delicate constructions that fit together exactly like little radars. One of my brothers had a mobile crane that could be operated with air pumps, I myself had a Formula 1 racing car.

Building a beautiful Lego set remains mythical and nostalgic for me. I discovered this again when I recently built the biggest set ever: the Colosseum. I immediately got the urge to try out other sets, because the greatest pleasure for me is building it myself. Unfortunately, the sets that interest me today are too expensive to buy one after the other. When I talked about this with others, I often heard the same complaint.

That is why I started Olego. To bring the experience of building a crazy Lego set within reach of everyone. To give (grand)parents and their children a fun holiday. To bring back that nostalgic feeling of Lego in everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
